Recently...

You have to read this post here, to understand why this moment is so special.

30 days of photos - Day 3: Happiness

Happiness is...

Day three - Happiness

Cuddling in a warm bed with him. My child's face when he learns something new. My baby's tiny fingers and teeny weeny toes. Chocolate, wine gums and spicy food (not necessarily together). Crisp autumn mornings and sunny spring evenings. Yellow flowers and honeysuckles. Us.

First few days

I have alot to blog about. The operation, the recovery room, being the bottle feeding woman in a 'baby friendly' (read: 'if you use formula we wont support you in the slightest with it hospital'), the fact im going to be launching some birth announcement and invitation templates to sell on Etsy very shortly (like I don't have enough to do, I go and make more work for myself) and what its like with two kids home under two in the first few days.

But... well.. I have two children under two, who surprisingly are both asleep right now but i doubt that is going to last long :P

So, instead I will share two pictures with you :)

Learning new tricks

Love. Love.

ZJ has been pulling himself up onto his knees for basically as long as he could crawl. But yesterday he figured out getting onto his feet means his reach for things on the coffee table/bookshelf/TV stand etc etc was just so much better.

It amazes me how quickly these little creatures learn a new trick. One day they will be like, 'nah can't be bothered with that rubbish' and then the next they will be 'please, i mastered that hours ago, onwards!'.
