
Tried making red velvet cupcakes today.
No idea how they taste.. going to see if either of the boys die from them before I attempt one.
The whole buttermilk thing kind of put me off them a bit (or the substitute I had to resort to - since do we even have that buttermilk shite here? - did at least, basically curdling milk with lemon juice).
Plus i ate like a whole bunch of the cream cheese frosting as i was making it.
So now I kinda feel double sick.

But they look pretty.
